Soon we will be announcing our amazing line up for Season 18. We are excited to kick off our Season in December and get back to doing what we do best in bringing live theatre to our community. We miss the "roar of the greasepaint and the smell of the crowd." We will be contacting existing season subscribers first and giving them the opportunity as loyal supporters of securing preferred seating. This is more important than ever as we will be implementing a social distancing strategy for the audience that will restrict the capacity of the Orpheum. You may want to consider booking your season subscription early therefore to ensure you are happy with the seating arrangements. We will be adding 5 performances to every show by opening on Tuesday evenings in order to accommodate everyone.
It is no surprise that one of our shows will be Disney's Beauty and the Beast which is being carried over from last season. Subscribers from last season will have a $25.00 credit that reduces the subscription price this year to $75.00. I understand that these times are tough on many of us but I am asking previous subscribers to consider paying the full $100.00 price of the season subscription and to consider foregoing your $25.00 credit as a gesture/donation to the Sioux Empire Community Theatre. Simply let the staff at the box office know that you wish to pay the full price for your ticket and we will be extremely grateful for your generosity.
Most of you know the success story that was taking shape on the back of a great Season 16 and Season 17. We managed to put ourselves in a good financial position before COVID-19 closed us down. Money is still needed to continue to operate even when we are closed and it would be a shame if COVID swallowed up the financial progress that we have made. You can help prevent that from happening!
