As your newly elected Vice President of the Sioux Empire Community Theatre, I am excited to be part of our ever evolving and growing community theatre organization.
Working with our newly elected President, Rick Weiland, our Board of Directors and newly appointed Executive Director, Robin Byrne, I am confident that we will continue on the road to success and offer a quality and affordable experience for all who participate and attend our productions.
I have a personal interest and passion for involving our students in live theatre. We have a depth of youth talent in the Sioux Empire and our summer theatre camps continue to be popular and are a proving ground for future casts and crew. We must continue to invest and grow these programs and I am committed to doing what I can as a member of the board and as your Vice President to ensure that young people in our community have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of theatre.
I am also passionate and interested in making sure our organization continues to evolve and remains on a strong financial footing. We need to constantly look for ways to improve how we do business from updating our by-laws and our policies and procedures to making critical investments in our infrastructure which will help to ensure our continued growth and future success.
I look forward to doing what I can to make a positive impact on the performing arts in the Sioux Empire.
