Hello! My name is Tammi Waltjer Haverly, and I am honored to be the newest member of the Sioux Empire Community Theatre Board of Directors. Currently, I serve as the Special Education Director at LifeScape Specialty Schools. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time at the lake, raising three golden retrievers, time with children, golfing, taking in the arts in all of its forms, and traveling (when there isn’t a pandemic!). I have been an avid supporter of community theatre for over 30 years, and have been able to see firsthand the many lives enriched due to local theater. I am excited to get to know the multitude of supporters, thespians, and community members that make productions at the SECT possible. My family has enjoyed our local community theatre through the years as a regular date night experience, an arena to introduce our children to the arts, scheduled “Forced Family Fun” nights, and a mechanism to entertain guests. I look forward to being a part of this great team and working to enhance theatrical education in our community.
